Hello! I’m Persephone, the Creator of Persephone Quarme.

For me, your event isn’t just an event; it’s a production and representation of you. So, usually in this section you’ll read all “About Me”, but here, it’s going to be about us, and what I think you should know so that we can work together to create your spectacular event.

As a single child growing up, I fell in love with the excitement of hosting and planning eccentric parties for my friends, leaving me with a passion and a skill that comes second to none. This led to 8 years of experience in the arts. Working in the events industry is a love affair I never want to end. With every enquiry, I treat it as my own, giving my full attention to every little detail you mention. Call me a dreamer, or perhaps it’s that I’m an innovator, but no idea is silly, and I genuinely believe in the quote “the sky is your limit”.

Everything that I have loved and lived – from learning Ballet (as a child) at the Royal Academy of Dance, to adventuring from Rio to Sugar Loaf Mountain in Brazil; music festivals to Q&A film screenings, all feed into my events vision—bringing you a portfolio of memorable occasions from unapologetic romantics to stylish parties and innovative brand launches.

Every great event deserves the three f’s – food, fashion, fun – and when I say fashion, I don’t mean what’s on-trend; I mean style. What’s your style? I’m incredibly versatile and get excited exploring different aesthetics, tastes, ideas and cultures. Working with exceptionally talented and utterly brilliant suppliers, we create stunning bespoke events that represent your objectives, aims, goals and exceeds all expectations!

I’m a HUGE people person and would love to hear all about you, so if you’d like to get in touch, please do jump on a call and say hello!

Because #SupportingSmall Doesn’t Always Mean Business...

Each event we produce is crafted together with the help of some of our fantastic suppliers, created and designed with care whilst supporting independent British businesses.

It is important to us that we continue contributing to and supporting the broader community, which is at the heart of our core values and ethos. We think doing good shouldn’t be difficult, and that’s why we want to help others, whichever way we can.

Albeit we are not officially committed to donating a set amount of profits to charity, we will always endeavour to donate to one of the below charities to support our fellow industry businesses who are striving for change.

“Luminary is an award-winning innovative response to a need we saw for women who have had a social and economic disadvantage… We provide a safe and professional environment where women can grow holistically – encouraging ambition, restoration and second chances. By investing in and releasing them to realise their dreams – through training, employment and community – we aim to break cycles of poverty, violence & disadvantage once and for all. We offer courses, work experience and paid employment within our bakery, empowering women to build their career.

Luminary Bakery operates online and in-store, selling a delicious selection of celebration cakes from weddings to intimate gatherings.”

“St. Cuthbert’s Centre is a 30-year-old charity joined by Refettorio Felix in 2017 by collaborating with Chef Massimo Bottura’s non-profit organisation Food for Soul, creating the current Refettorio Felix at St. Cuthbert’s Centre. We sustain and support vulnerable people with positive and warm therapeutic services to accomplish our charity’s objectives of relieving poverty, hardship, sickness and distress. Our impact is grounded in the power of a shared meal of outstanding quality made with 100% surplus food.

Refettorio Felix provides an inviting space for all sorts of bespoke events each evening and weekend. The hall has been newly renovated by interior designer Ilse Crawford. He has created a calming and welcoming ambience with low hanging pendant lights, teal-hued walls and plenty of plants. All hire fees go towards supporting our community dining project and charity.”

“Brides do Good is an ethical and sustainable bridal brand based in London. Our brides help change the world with every step they take down the aisle. Creating sustainable impact with ethical wedding dresses.

We believe in creating a fairer, more sustainable world. Not only do 1/3 of our profits support charity projects working to empower girls and end child marriage, but our dresses help to combat the impact that fashion has on our planet, offering you a kinder way to wed.

Brides do Good isn’t just a wedding boutique; we’re a community that raises funds and awareness to create a more equitable world for women and girls.”
